- Who can join Setu?
- Businesses of any size and the people who run or work for them — including home businesses, sole proprietors, shops, wholesalers, manufacturers, artisans, service providers and startups.
- Does it cost anything?
- The pilot is free. We will tell you clearly, well in advance, before any paid features are introduced.
- Do I need a website or GST registration?
- No. You can create a complete profile with a description, your products or services and one way to reach you — email, phone or WhatsApp. Your Setu profile can be your business page, and you can share its link anywhere.
- Can I finish my profile later?
- Yes. Only your business name, a category and your country are needed to start. The checklist on your home page takes you back to where you left off.
- Will my phone number or email be public?
- No, not unless you choose to show them on your business profile. You can change this at any time.
- What does “Verified” mean?
- It means only that the specific checks listed on the profile were completed. It is not a guarantee of quality, safety or payment reliability. Always do your own due diligence.
- How do I get verified?
- Owners and admins can request verification from Manage business. A Setu moderator checks what you offer — for example your website, business email domain or tax registration — and your profile then lists exactly those checks.
- How do I report or block someone?
- Use “Report” on any business, post, comment, opportunity or message; moderators review every report and the business isn't told who reported it. Owners and admins can also block a business from its profile — this removes any connection or follow between you and stops further contact.
- What happens when content is moderated?
- Moderators can hide or remove content or suspend a business, always with a recorded reason that is sent to the business. If you think a decision is wrong, reply to the notification or contact us and a different moderator will look again.
- Can I download or delete my data?
- Yes. On your Account page you can download everything Setu holds about you, and delete your account. If you're the only owner of a business with other members, make someone else an owner first.
- Can I buy or sell directly on Setu?
- Not yet. Setu helps businesses find and talk to each other. Payments, shipping and contracts happen outside Setu.
